I serve a variety of roles in visionary organizations committed to transformative social change and development of innovative programs.See a detailed resume of my recent client work.
I've worked on complex online programs with visionaries in Silicon Valley and worldwide thought-leaders as well as small organizations and individuals committed to gently shifting our cultural narratives one soul at a time. My clients are engaged in thought-provoking conversations and cutting-edge programming. Check out their videos and some of the work I've done on their programming!
I support clients in developing new program/product designs based on their unique visions of transformative social change. By transformative social change, I mean new ways of being and doing that challenge our default assumptions and limitations, and guide us toward an exciting and interconnected future...what Thich Nhat Hahn and my colleague Charles Eisenstein call a state of "interbeing" in which we are all interconnected, supporting one another to be the best we can collectively be.
I work with organizations and individuals who want to change the world for the better--who are unafraid, even inspired, to break free from status-quo ways of doing things. This is sometimes challenging since we cannot go by our old maps of how to get from point A to point B. But it is exciting work, and my many years pioneering new programs in Silicon Valley prepared me well for it. I love supporting visionaries who work from a place of authenticity...those who challenge the boundaries of what we think we know while also respecting the wisdom and value of our ancestors.
I completed my M.A. at Virginia Tech, then moved to Silicon Valley where I worked for many years in new product design and launch for internet start-ups. After relocating to Virginia, my home state, I returned to school to study nutrition, health counseling and mindfulness, then established my consulting LLC to combine these two areas of interest.
Because I see the health and wellbeing of every individual as interwoven with the health and wellbeing of our communities and our world, I studied and completed certification in Transformative Leadership and Social Change through the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia).
I have a particular interest in working with educational programming, as well as organizations that support families and individuals with special needs. I received a seed grant from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition based on my program design and work with special needs nonprofit organizations in the area. And I continue to further develop that programming within a number of environments and local initiatives, while also maintaining a selective client base for online program development.
